OUR STORY

Why we chose Gozo

Malta  including Gozo has over 360 amazing churches and chapels which are veritable works of art scattered across the islands. Even more impressive is 98% of the Maltese population are catholic. With rolling hills and old sandstone buildings, this walled hilltop city looks like a miniature version of the Holy land without the evening call to prayer.

With its pretty countrysides, beautiful sunsets, spectacular coastlines , we couldn’t think of anywhere else suitable for our nuptuals than the country of Joy (in case you missed it, Gozo means Joy).

Annabelle's Story

Born in 1979 in a little known place of Blantyre in

Malawi, the year Monty Python's life of Brian was

released and Sir Rodger Moore played Bond for the

4th time in Moonraker. The christmas number one

was Another brick in the wall by Pink Floyd.

I grew up travelling with my family across Europe and Africa experiencing different cultures and food. I have a strong belief in the Catholic faith, hence the large church wedding, lol.

I enjoy the great outdoors and pushing myself to experience different events and challenges like Spartan and Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge.

With Damien, I have found the One whom my soul loves. Stubborn at times, but he makes me smile. Always the perfect gent, he actually took a knee before we even had our first date - helped me put on snowboarding boots :0). And with those blue eyes, whats not to love.

Parents:  Jessie & Patrick Khembo
